School at home, work at home, go to beach, walk and breath, school at home work at home… repeat, repeat, repeat…
Saved a baby little Penguin today and a fledging Short-tailed Shearwater. They were alive on the surf edge, exhausted, so I scooped them up in my jumper and called a ranger.
Grateful for our new girls! The chickens are a welcome distraction from the daily routine.
One of the strangest ANZAC day services. So grateful to all who served to protect our country and freedom including my Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad.
Did a little paddle, conditions a bit tricky, but it was nice to be out on the water.
Spent the afternoon building as a family a new, recycled chicken hut… photos another day.
Thank goodness it’s Friday… the weekend, woo hoo. I guess for those who have not left home it is hard to understand how excited I am to be going home.
I have great workmates who are willing to be silly with me. The sun was out today… always makes me feel better!
Yup. Another busy school day.
When at work, other than no students, hard to belive we are in lockdown… except that I have a whole classroom as my office, with a brilliant view.
Funny moments of “social distancing” at work… dancing in and out of doorways, and waiting for “room” to walk past. Would look funny to watch in fast forward.
Left at 8am, home at 7:30pm, again… lucky I have a job but really – why does it take so much time?
I had a class supervision today, only 4 students but grade 3 and 4 so I didn’t get any work done…
Frustrated when I turn on the radio and hear people talking about “so much free time” – I am going to learn cross stitch. Grrr good luck to you!

Day off… again – but not… guess I am lucky I still have a job.
Starting to feel like this blog is not worth it… sorry it’s so boring! Guess that is how life feels some days.
Another one of those… it’s my day off – but not really as there is so much work to do.
Boys are not really coping with Mum and Dad teachers… thinking how this is happening all over the world.
Feeling grateful for our Government’s decision to lock down early.
Just loving that I am not working. Quality time with family, walks on the beach. Feel blessed.
We took the boats out and there was a pod of dolphins and seal. A little nervous as they swam under the boats. So beautiful.
Decided to have a weekend. Promised myself to not check work emails…. and try not to think about work!
School have offered a fee reduction for school fees. This should help support our community a bit.
